BBC Worldwide has two preschool apps that are perfect to load on a newly purchased iPad, iPhone or iPod this holiday season – all from the comfort of your own home! Based on the well known children’s TV programs “Teletubbies” and “In the Night Garden,” the apps are appropriate for young children and enjoyable for parents too! Both are now available on iOS devices (iPad, iPhone and iPod touch).
Teletubbies: My First App ($1.99) - Young children can take an interactive journey with the Teletubbies and become immersed in fun experiences from the TV show. Children can choose to interact with the game as much as they’d like, whether they want to make Tubby Custard, chase the Teletubbies up and down hills, or find funny noises; this is a great way for kids to interact with their Teletubbie friends.
In the Night Garden ($1.99) – Children of all ages can meet up with their favorites from the famous TV show such as Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka to explore the enchanting world of “In the Night Garden.” Kids can dance with their favorite characters in and around many of the locations from the show including the Stepping Stone Path, the Daisy Patch, Makka Pakka’s Cave and the Tombliboo Bush.
